What's up with the signs?:
The local Dirt Dogs barking outside the old
bone yard:
We got the signs because, after multiple snafus, we
didn't have any t-shirts ready for the weekend series against the White Sox. As
we were just getting on the map way back then (July 27th), I gambled and spent
$600.00 (of course people want to buy them for $10 outside the park) at Copy Cop
to make the largest signs they could output (3 feet x 3 feet) and mount.
As luck would have it, we only had the template for the "GRRRCIAPARRA'S
BACK" shirt to make the signs from that Saturday as the Sox announced that Nomar
would be activated for Sunday. The signs were a big hit. I try to output (from
my color printer) new messages to paste on them before every game,
referencing the topic du jour.
Look for us at the next home game!
