Henry, Lucchino, Werner, Couric, Otten, Mitchell, Cammarata, Eskandarian, New York Times/Boston
Globe, Voter.com, Weld,
Rasky, Colin Powell, Cokie Roberts, Byron Dafoe, Jo Jo White. |
The winner. With enough people to actually field a team, NESV
went into overdrive
in final days. Henry is new top dog
while Lucchino runs the show. Duquette involvement biggest
downside along with Werner bad rap/Otten history. Can they really fix Fenway? Or
will they build on Pier 4? |

McCourt |
Is he grabbing
McCourt's Stadium? He Hate Steinbrenner's $2.7 billion net worth and $650m
offer impressive, but Cablevision chief
may have trouble with limited partner and MLB vote. May also lose on "best interest of the Yawkey Trust" loophole
or brother problem. |

New Top Bidder at
$655m for whole package? Vermont-born lawyer in it to the last mile.
Quadrangle group brings in large circle people, cash to the table. Ain't

Dreams die of breaking the $7.00-Bud-Light barrier at Fenway. Would have bundled
Sox/Bruins/nachos together for one price. |
