The Big Curt, Boston Batter Chicago in the
City of Big Schoulders 10-1
"Hopefully I've got another 100 something innings left (to pitch) in the season. Coming out of there tonight with 70 something pitches... We've got to make it work for us. ...I always felt I have the advantage in back-to-back games (against the same team). I just feel like after seeing a guy 3-4 times I know what I want to do with them. I know what his holes are. What his weaknesses are. ...My splitter is back to where it was the last couple of years. From a confidence standpoint, that's a huge, huge thing. You start focusing on numbers that you can't get to, you start focusing on things that don't matter." -- The Big Schill
Orlando to Chicago Nonstop, Cabby has 3-run HR, 4 RBI
"The offense started hitting today. Manny got a couple of good hits. Of course Schilling was the man today. Everybody did a great job. ...He's big (Schilling). He's hard to figure out. ...In Montreal I was up with the bases loaded two times. In Boston I think 10 times already." -- The OC

Tom Thumbs Fenway
Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease after stomach pains from eating a "large quantity of peanuts and Cracker Jack" at Fenway Monday night that sent him to the hospital.
"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
Brigham & Women's will take me back,
So it's poop, poop, poop for the home team,
If they don't win I'll feel lame.
For it's one, two, three bites, I'm out,
At the old ball game."
Get well soon Tom (my Mom battles Crohn's too)
